Art Postcard: Gustav Adolf Hessl Mother Feeding Baby Domestic Scene XT5586

This touching domestic scene captures an intimate interior view painted by the Austrian artist Gustav Adolf Hessl. A mother sits near an open rustic window, carefully feeding her young baby who is held tenderly by an older sibling or nurse standing beside them. The soft, natural light illuminating the family group highlights the beautifully executed realism and warm sentiment typical of early twentieth-century European genre painting.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Wiener Kunst B.K.W.I. series. The postcard was made in Austria. This is an unused postcard.
