This striking sepia-toned view features a dramatic sculptural relief by Domenico Mastroianni illustrating a famous scene from the classic novel Quo Vadis. The artwork depicts the character Vinicius visiting the house of Petronius, captured in an intricate classical Roman style with detailed figures and columns. This unique piece highlights the celebrated early twentieth-century "sculptobrumure" photographic style developed in Paris.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by A. N. Paris Sculptobrumure, R. Noyer. The postcard was made in France. This is an unused postcard.
