This beautiful continental size archive aviation postcard reproduces a historic World War II corporate advertisement for Vickers-Armstrongs Limited, appearing originally as a cover feature for "The Aeroplane" journal in 1944. The dramatic maritime illustration showcases a Royal Navy Supermarine Seafire fighter aircraft banking sharply in mid-flight above an active aircraft carrier fleet cruising at sea. Displaying official military roundels and "R.N." tail codes, it stands as a brilliant piece of British naval aviation history documentation.

This is a continental size postcard which was published by Vintage Ad Gallery Ltd under reference AA282PC. The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard.

Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.
