This vibrant Edwardian birthday greeting postcard features a hand-colored photographic scene showing a bouquet of fresh pink and yellow roses arranged inside an art-nouveau green ceramic vase. Resting on the tabletop beside the vase is an elegant arrangement of loose rose blossoms intertwined with a double strand of white pearls and red beads. The lower edge displays a decorative unrolled parchment scroll containing a touching four-line poetic birthday sentiment.
