This original topographical black and white photographic postcard features the iconic Cabot Tower, situated on Brandon Hill in Bristol. The image captures the impressive red sandstone and Bath stone tower from a low angle, highlighting its ornate Neo-Gothic architecture. Built in the 1890s to commemorate John Cabot's voyage to North America, the tower is shown standing tall on its rocky eminence, complete with its characteristic viewing platforms and spire. Several figures are visible sitting along the low stone walls at the base of the tower, providing a sense of scale to this historic monument.
