Caernarvonshire Postcard: Lewis Carroll Memorial Llandudno Alice RPPC XT5517

This historic real photographic view showcases the famous Lewis Carroll Memorial statue erected on the West Shore at Llandudno. The white marble monument features a finely carved White Rabbit looking at his pocket watch by a tree trunk, celebrating the location where Carroll was inspired to write 'Alice in Wonderland' after walking with Alice Liddell. Unveiled by David Lloyd George in September 1933, the landmark stands framed against the seaside resort's coastal villas and rolling hills.
