This historic colour postcard features a fine art depiction of a traditional light-coloured horse and a high-wheeled calèche carriage with its driver. The artwork captures the iconic horse-drawn open carriage system that became a highly popularised mode of transport for early international tourists exploring Old Quebec. It represents a beautiful example of Raphael Tuck's classic early twentieth-century travel and transport publishing series.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Raphael Tuck & Sons as part of the "Quebec" Oilette series. No 2558. The postcard was made in England. This is an unused postcard.
