Congo Postcard: Rwanda, Tutsi Intore Dance King Of Belgium Visit Congo 55 XT4573

This historic scene highlights the Tutsi Intore dancers of the Mwami of Rwanda performing during the King of Belgium's royal tour. The dancers are dressed in brand new festive costumes specially made for the grand celebration in the summer of 1955. In the foreground, the experienced ballet master leads the intricate choreography that he has directed for over fifteen years.

This is a non standard size postcard which was published by Chocolat Cote d'Or. The postcard was made in Belgium. This is an unused postcard which measures 148mm x 98mm.

This postcard has slight corner rubbing.
