Cyprus Postcard: Lefkara Laces Village Craft Needlework Street Scene XT3855

This evocative cultural photograph captures a group of local women meticulously handcrafting traditional Lefkara lace outdoors on a village street. An older gentleman dressed in classic regional Cypriot attire observes the process, documenting an ancient needlework custom that has been passed down through generations since the Middle Ages.

This is a non standard size postcard which was published by J. Arthur Dixon, Newport, I.W., England for agent and distributor D. A. Gabrielides, Limassol (series number CYPRUS 40). The postcard was made in Great Britain. This is an unused postcard which measures 145mm x 98mm.

This postcard has very very slight rubbing to the top right hand corner tip.
