This colourful landscape view captures a narrowboat cruising along the historic iron trough of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen. The impressive stone arches and iron spans are shown carrying the Llangollen Canal high above the Dee Valley, with rolling green hillsides and local houses visible in the background. The composition serves as a magnificent record of Thomas Telford's iconic industrial architecture and the enduring popularity of British canal holiday tourism.

This is a continental size postcard which was published by Visionscards (Photo by Sheila Halsall). The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard.

This postcard has rubbing to the left hand corners.
