This poignant monument portrait details the elegant Carrara marble sculpture erected in honor of local military personnel lost during the Great War. Positioned against the dense foliage of the hillside, the pedestal displays a uniform soldier and sailor standing astride a central stone cairn beneath a billowing Union Flag.
This is a non standard size postcard which was published by C. & A.G. Lewis, Nottingham under the Colonial Series. The postcard was made in United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard and measures 132mm x 86mm.
