This historic real photograph captures the thatched cottages and winding lane of Mars Hill in Lynmouth, Devon, dominated by the timbered silhouette of the Rising Sun Hotel. The stone pier and breakwater overlook the Bristol Channel just decades before the catastrophic 1952 flood transformed the harbor.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Dearden & Wade, Bournemouth (Sunny South Real Photo Series 1800). The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard.

This postcard has very slight surface wear.

Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.

When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.

Any watermark does not appear on the actual postcard'.
