East Sussex Postcard: Mayfield from Argos Hill Panoramic Landscape View XT2130.

The photograph provides a sweeping panoramic view of the village of Mayfield, East Sussex, as seen from the vantage point of Argos Hill. Mayfield is a historic Saxon-origin village, formerly known as Maghefeld, which prospered significantly during the height of the Wealden iron industry. Argos Hill itself sits at 600ft above sea level and is most famous for its landmark post mill, a Grade II* listed windmill built in the 1830s.

This is an unused standard size postcard published by an unidentified local publisher and manufactured in the United Kingdom. The postcard has a crease to the bottom right hand corner. Slightly slanted top edge.

Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.

When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.

Any 'Mo's Postcards' watermark does not appear on the actual postcard'.
