This early 20th-century postcard features an elevated view of the bustling beach and promenade jetty (Plage et Jetée-Promenade) in Arcachon, France. The busy coastal scene is filled with numerous holidaymakers, iconic striped beach tents on the sand, swimmers in the water, and a crowd of people walking along the long wooden pier structure extending into the sea. The reverse side features a handwritten message in French with a green postage stamp postmarked in December 1922.
The postcard was published by Marcel Delboy and was made in France.
