This topographical postcard presents a historic street level view looking up the famous, steep cobblestone incline of Rue du Jerzual in Dinan, Brittany. The monochrome composition beautifully highlights the tightly packed, half-timbered medieval houses with their characteristic gabled roofs while featuring two local women standing on the street in traditional long dresses.
