France Postcard: La Grande Motte Herault Pyramid Architecture Aerial View 1970s XT3520

This topographical postcard presents a striking high-angle aerial view looking over the famous seaside resort of La Grande-Motte in the Hérault department. The colorful photochrome composition showcases the city's iconic, modernist pyramid-shaped apartment buildings designed by architect Jean Balladur, stretching along a busy sandy beach lined with holidaymakers and a large yacht marina.

This is a non standard size postcard which was published by Éditions S.L. (Villeurbanne) as part of the Rotacolor / Totalfoto series, Series No. 17805. The postcard was made in Italy using a Kodak Ektachrome photograph. This is an unused postcard which measures 146mm x 101mm.
