This early 20th-century tinted monochrome postcard features a bustling scene at the beach during high tide in Le Havre, France. The composition captures numerous beachgoers relaxing on the pebble shore, distinctive striped and solid canvas beach tents, and a long breakwater jetty stretching into the sea in the distance.
The postcard was published by Henri Basuyau & Cie and was made in France.
This postcard has very slight surface wear at the right hand edge.
