France Postcard: Paris et ses Merveilles Multi-View Eiffel Tower Notre Dame XT3389.
This mid-20th-century real photo postcard showcases a classic multi-view composite titled "Paris et ses Merveilles" (Paris and its Wonders). The front composition features four hand-tinted monochrome photographic vignettes of famous Parisian landmarks: the Eiffel Tower from the river Seine, a sweeping view toward the Butte Montmartre from the Louvre Palace, the bustling rue Royale leading down to the Église de la Madeleine with vintage automobiles, and the majestic stone towers of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame. The card is finished with decorative deckle (scalloped) edges.
The postcard was published by André Leconte under his renowned Editions d'Art "GUY" imprint (38, rue Ste-Croix de la Bretonnerie - Paris) as part of the Photographie Véritable series (No. 4175) and was made in France.
This postcard has slight wear at the right hand edge.
Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.
