This historic postcard captures a striking view of the eastern apse of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, showcasing its architectural flying buttresses and iconic central spire. The monochrome photograph overlooks the calm waters of the River Seine, framed by bare trees and stone embankments along the riverfront. It provides a classic artistic documentation of the medieval Gothic landmark as it stood during the mid-twentieth century.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by A. Leconte as part of the Paris et ses Merveilles series. The postcard was made in France. This is an unused postcard.
