This real photograph postcard captures the passenger paddle steamer Salondampfer "Fürst Bismarck" moored along the scenic Weser River near Hann. Münden. The vessel operated passenger routes between Hameln and Hann. Münden, framed by the lush, heavily wooded hillsides and traditional architecture of the region. The sharp photographic detail provides a wonderful documentation of German river shipping and local maritime tourism during the interwar period.
