This unused postcard features a vibrant, bustling scene in the famous narrow Drosselgasse lane in Rüdesheim am Rhein. The photograph highlights traditional half-timbered architecture with an ornate carved wooden bay window and balconies overflowing with red geraniums. A prominent wrought-iron bracket sign for the "Drosselhof" hangs over the cobblestone street, which is filled with tourists in summer attire.
