Hertfordshire Postcard: Barnet, Entrance to Dyrham Park XT1950
Dyrham Park, located between Barnet and South Mimms, has a history dating back to the medieval period when it was part of a larger ecclesiastical estate. The estate's prominent manor house, which can be reached via the entrance shown in this image, was rebuilt in the late 18th century in a grand Palladian style. During the early 20th century, the park remained a significant private estate before parts of it were eventually developed for a golf club in the 1960s.
This is a used standard size postcard. The publisher is Cowing's Series and the country of manufacture is the United Kingdom. The postcard has slight surface wear.
Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.
When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.
Any 'Mo's Postcards' watermark does not appear on the actual postcard'.
