This historic sepia topographical postcard showcases a scenic view along Ness Walk beside the flowing waters of the River Ness. The composition captures the grand architecture of Inverness Castle standing prominently on its wooded cliffside mound in the distance, alongside town buildings, a church spire, and a quiet tree-lined pedestrian path with a solitary figure seated on a bench. Constructed in 1836 on the site of a medieval stronghold, the castellated red sandstone fortress historically served as a central county courthouse.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Photochrom Co. Ltd. The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard.

Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.

When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.

Any watermark does not appear on the actual postcard'.
