Kent Postcard: Artist View of The Parade, High Tide, Deal XT1942.

This original topographical postcard features a dramatic, artistic rendering of the seafront at Deal during high tide. The tinted photographic scene captures the powerful white surf of the English Channel as it crashes over the promenade wall. In the background, a cluster of traditional three-story seaside buildings, including a prominent residence with a large gable, overlooks the turbulent water. Several figures are visible on the far right, observing the stormy conditions. The sky is painted with a soft, sunset glow of orange and pink, contrasting with the dynamic movement of the waves in the foreground.

The publisher of this postcard is C. W. Faulkner & Co., London.

The country of manufacture for this postcard is the United Kingdom.

This is a used standard size postcard. Posted in 1907. The postcard has some edge and corner wear.
