Croyland Abbey (now more commonly known as Crowland Abbey) is a historic Grade I listed parish church and former Benedictine monastery in Crowland, Lincolnshire. Founded in 716 AD by King Ethelbald of Mercia, it was built to honour St Guthlac, a hermit who lived on what was then a desolate island in the Fens.
