This colourful aerial perspective captures a sunlit look over the historic waterfront of Spinola Bay in St. Julian's, Malta. The composition showcases the iconic horseshoe curve of the harbor road wrapping around the bay, filled with small moored traditional fishing boats. The dense, limestone-toned Mediterranean urban layout rises sharply along the hillsides, featuring a multi-storey tower block and a curving modern flyover highway system cutting through the upper valley. The scene stands as a beautiful post-war record of the Maltese archipelago prior to the intensive high-rise developments of the late twentieth century.

This is a continental size postcard which was published by Alfred Galea Zammit & Co. (Series MMI-075B / G178). The card features a prominent Maltese Cross emblem in the upper corner. The postcard was made in Malta. This is an unused postcard.
