This vibrant street scene captures the historic Royal Mile in Edinburgh, highlighting the historic stone timber-fronted architecture of Huntly House and the prominent clock tower of the Canongate Tolbooth. A detachment of Scottish soldiers dressed in traditional kilted uniforms and feather bonnets marches down the center of the road, watched by early Edwardian pedestrians.
