Military Postcard: 'Follow The Drum' Historic British Army Drums and Staffs. 1980's

This compelling military history postcard was published by the National Army Museum, London and features a curated display of historic percussion and regimental regalia. The front of the card presents a vibrant color photograph of several significant items from the museum's collection, titled 'Follow The Drum.' This collection includes a side drum from the 1st Foot Guards dating to approximately 1815, and a prominent center bass drum carried by the 72nd (Duke of Albany's Highlanders) during the 2nd Afghan War from 1878 to 1880. Also featured is a side drum from the 2nd Bn Royal Irish Regiment from circa 1905.

This is a continental sized postcard. This postcard is in unused condition and has very slight rubbing to the corner tips.
