Military Postcard: Second World War Campaign Stars Imperial War Museum. 1970's

This informative military history postcard was printed by Gavin Martin Limited, London for the Imperial War Museum and measures 148 mm x 105 mm. It is an unused card that provides a detailed guide to the campaign stars of the 1939-1945 war.

The front of the postcard features a high-quality color photograph of eight distinct six-pointed bronze stars arranged with their specific ribbons. The back of the card meticulously identifies each award by its position in the image. Across the top, from left to right, are the 1939-1945 Star, the Atlantic Star, and the Aircrew Europe Star. The center row, from left to right, features the Africa Star and the Pacific Star. Finally, the bottom row displays the Burma Star, the Italy Star, and the France and Germany Star. This collective display serves as an excellent reference for anyone interested in the diverse theaters of operation recognized during the Second World War.

Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.

When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.
