Monmouthshire Postcard: Llanhilleth Town View, ER Royal Hillside 1970's XT4402

This fascinating panoramic view overlooks the hillside community of Llanhilleth nestled valley-side. On the densely wooded mountain rising steeply behind the town houses, the royal cipher 'ER' is visibly formed out of contrasting tree plantings. The scene beautifully illustrates the post-war layout, regional architecture, and unique landscape features of this historic Welsh valleys town.
