This coloured topographical view highlights the impressive ruined entrance gatehouse of Raglan Castle, situated in the historic county of Monmouthshire. The late medieval fortress towers are covered in dense climbing ivy, showing the arched gateway leading into the inner courtyard from a manicured grass lawn. Dating from the 15th century, the site stands as one of the most distinctive castle ruins in Wales and a significant monument of the English Civil War.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Valentine's Series. The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard.
