"Dear E. In answer to your P.C. of this evening, Yes gave E the 'Messiah' last year, I have been wondering myself what to give her, I think I have almost decided to give her a blouse button do you think she has got enough. I have just been to hear 'Gipsy Smith' give a grand Hot Temperance address at R H Congl & a big lot went forward & signed the pledge. Have you heard anything from Bristol. Love from Lucy."
