Religious Postcard:Jesu Lover Of My Soul Christian Hymn Bamforth Art 1911 XT5328

This historic view features a poignant devotional illustration paired with the verse of the classic Christian hymn, Jesu, Lover of My Soul. A young woman with long wavy hair sits holding a holy book close to her chest while looking upward with an expression of faithful contemplation. The scene captures the distinctive sentimental artistic style popularized by early twentieth-century secular and religious publishers.
