This beautiful "Art Colour" topographical postcard, published by Valentine & Sons, Ltd. of Dundee and London, captures the historic atmosphere of the Aberdeen Fish Market. The front features a reproduction of an original watercolor by the artist Brian Gerald, showing a busy day at the quayside. Steam trawlers with numbers like A274 are docked alongside the bustling market, where workers and horse-drawn carts are gathered amongst the daily catch.
