Sentimental Postcard:Though The Wide Seas Roll Between Us Song Poem 1910s XT5331

This historic view features a touching sentimental illustration paired with the lyrics of the popular song, Though The Wide Seas Roll Between Us. A young woman with elegantly styled hair stands with clasped hands on a classical stone terrace, gazing wistfully out across a vast ocean toward the sunset. The scene provides a beautifully coloured, romantic glimpse into early twentieth-century popular culture and themes of long-distance separation.
