This interior view showcases a comfortable passenger stateroom layout onboard the New Zealand Shipping Company passenger liner MV Rangitane. The photograph highlights a neatly made single bed, a wooden dressing table with drawers, an armchair, and a vanity mirror reflecting a modern "Bibby" style tandem cabin layout. Completed in 1949, this classic vessel carried passengers and cargo on the lengthy regular trade routes between the United Kingdom and New Zealand via the Panama Canal.

This is a non standard size postcard which was published by New Zealand Shipping Co. Official Series. The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard which measures 138mm x 86mm.

This postcard has a crease to the bottom left hand corner.
