The room features a grand piano in the foreground alongside contemporary mid-century patterned armchairs, custom low cocktail tables, and large fitted wood bookcases displaying a scenic tapestry panel. Entering service in 1954, this luxury vessel regularly carried thousands of travelers between the United Kingdom and Australasia during the peak post-war era of British maritime migration.
