This historic colour postcard features a street scene highlighting Ireland's Mansion, a magnificent timber-framed Elizabethan town house in Shrewsbury. The detailed view showcases the spectacular black-and-white half-timbered architecture, multiple gables, and ornate bay windows above ground floor retail shops with local pedestrians walking along the pavement. Built in the late sixteenth century for a wealthy wool merchant, it remains one of the town's most celebrated historic landmarks.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by J. Salmon Ltd., Sevenoaks as part of the A Salmon Cameracolour series (1-22-02-12F). The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is a partially used postcard.
