Somerset Postcard: Dowlish Wake Perrys Cider Mill Apple Harvest 1980s XT5119

This colourful agricultural scene documents a massive harvest of cider apples being tipped into a large storage bay at a processing farm. A farm worker in blue overalls manages the flow as a large red tipping trailer, pulled by a classic blue Ford tractor, unloads an immense pile of fruit under an open barn structure. The composition provides a fascinating, detailed historic record of twentieth-century commercial fruit farming, cider production heritage, and British agricultural automation.

This is a non standard size postcard which was published by Rapid Print, Chard. The postcard was made in England. This is an unused postcard which measures 146mm x 101mm.
