South Africa Postcard: Helping Mother Stone Grinding Artco Durban RPXT3888

This fascinating social history postcard features a genuine vintage real photograph titled "689 — Helping Mother." The poignant image captures a young African child adorned in traditional regional beaded neck strands and custom waist bands, kneeling playfully while gripping a hand stone to grind grains inside a large hollowed stone grinding trough.

This is a continental size postcard which was published by Art Publishers (Pty) Ltd. The postcard was made in South Africa. This is an unused real photo postcard (RPPC) with bilingual "POST CARD / POSKAART" headings on the reverse.

This postcard has extremely minor wear at the bottom edge.
