USA Postcard: Narragansett Pier The Casino and Towers Rhode Island XT2149.
This is an unused standard size postcard published by Robbins Bros. and manufactured in Germany. The postcard has slight surface wear.
This historic hand-colored view captures the iconic Narragansett Pier Casino and its majestic granite Towers in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Designed by the renowned firm McKim, Mead & White and completed in 1886, the Casino was the social heart of the resort until most of it was destroyed by fire in 1900. The Towers, which spanned Ocean Road, remain today as one of the state's most recognizable landmarks and a surviving remnant of the Gilded Age's architectural grandeur.
Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.
When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.
Any 'Mo's Postcards' watermark does not appear on the actual postcard'.
