West Sussex Postcard: Cuckfield Ockenden Manor Elizabethan House XT2129.

The image features Ockenden Manor in Cuckfield, a fine Elizabethan manor house originally home to the Michel family in the mid-1500s. In 1658, it was purchased by ironmaster John Burrell, whose family owned the property for several centuries. During the inter-war period, the building served as a boys' school before housing Canadian troops at the start of World War II.

This is an unused standard size postcard published by an unidentified local photographer and manufactured in the United Kingdom. The postcard has slight surface wear.

Please also use the image magnifier to make your own assessment on the condition. Please ignore any lines caused by the scanner.

When possible all of our postcards will be posted to you inside a collectable plastic postcard sleeve and a board backed envelope which will be marked 'Please do not bend'.

Any 'Mo's Postcards' watermark does not appear on the actual postcard'.
