This historic real photograph view features the interior factory floor of the Wilton Royal Carpet Factory near Salisbury. An industrial worker operates a massive gripper loom machine surrounded by large racks of wool spools underneath a modern vaulted ceiling. The scene provides a detailed industrial look at British textile manufacturing and carpet production methods during the mid-twentieth century.
