This real photograph view illustrates a peaceful pastoral scene in the village of Airton within the Yorkshire Dales. Cattle rest quietly in the foreground meadow before a fine terrace of stone houses known as The Croft, with the local Methodist chapel visible further along the lane. It captures a timeless glimpse into the agricultural character and traditional building styles of this historic community situated on the River Aire.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Turner's Real Photo Series, Skipton. The postcard was made in the United Kingdom. This is an unused postcard.

This postcard has a curved crease at the right hand edge, and a light angled crease.
