Yorkshire Postcard: Eston Ironstone Mines Old Bank Winding Drum c1900 XT3845

This fascinating historical reproduction postcard offers an early industrial glimpse at the Old Bank drift workings within the historic Eston Ironstone Mines around 1900. The gritty archive scene documents the operational layout of the site, showcasing a team of miners, heavily laden transit wagons on parallel iron trackways, a working horse, and the towering brick profiles of the twin ventilation engine house chimneys.
