This impressive historical street scene captures an early green electric double-decker tram navigating past majestic commercial buildings. Pedestrians stroll along the sidewalks beside a horse-drawn delivery cart, while the grand stone facade of the National Provincial Bank of England frames the right side of the view. The composition beautifully illustrates the busy financial heart and urban transport systems of the city during the early twentieth century.

This is a standard size postcard which was published by Hartmann (Hartmann Trade Mark). The postcard was made in Germany. This postcard was posted in 1903.

This postcard has a couple of surface creases.
